Practice Comparison for Primary Care Organisations (PCOs)

The Practice Comparison Application for PCOs has been designed to allow the analysis and comparison of Anonymised practice data across the PCO. The Practices Anonymised data can be automatically sent using the Clinical Manager Application to a central repository at the PCO where it is merged into a central database.

The software is compatible with all major primary care clinical systems which means that the data is comparable across the whole PCO. Using the application you can compare individual practices or clusters of practices against any of the searches provided with the software such as the LDPs, Smoking, Obesity, Ethnicity and Primary Prevention Targets etc.

The Application can be made available via a standard web browser and can be used across the PCO's intranet. Over a period of time historical data can be accumulated within the application so that future trends can be predicted and the data can be exported to other external applications for further analysis if required.
